GIGLIO.COM App
OVERVIEW
GIGLIO.COM is a leading Italian luxury fashion retailer with a strong international presence. While the brand had an established web platform, I was brought on to design a new mobile app experience aimed at enhancing customer engagement, optimizing navigation for mobile users, and bringing the brand's high-end identity into a native application.
✅ Outcomes
While metrics post-launch are confidential, early internal feedback and testing showed:
Increased engagement time compared to mobile web.
Reduced drop-off in the checkout process.
Higher interaction with wishlists and saved items.

THE CHALLENGE
Despite its strong web presence, GIGLIO.COM lacked a dedicated app for its customer base, which increasingly expected a smooth, intuitive, and personalized mobile shopping experience. The main goals were:
Create a mobile-first user experience consistent with the brand’s premium positioning.
Improve product discovery and browsing on smaller screens.
Support the full e-commerce flow: from inspiration to checkout.
Include personalization and cross-device continuity.

RESEARCH & INSIGHTS
To define user needs and expectations, we:
Analyzed app store reviews of competitors (e.g., Farfetch, MyTheresa, Net-a-Porter).
Studied analytics from GIGLIO’s existing mobile site to identify drop-off points.
Conducted stakeholder interviews and aligned with brand, tech, and marketing teams.
Key findings included:
Desire for quick access to new arrivals and promotions.
Need for fast, frictionless browsing with strong filtering options.
Importance of a visually rich product display aligned with fashion industry standards.
